Capstone Paper
During my last semester of college, I wrote a capstone paper called “A New Kind of Hero: A Look at Autism in ‘The Curious Incident’,” which went on to be awarded Highly Commended in the Literature category by the Global Undergraduate Awards in 2019. The paper focuses on Mark Haddon’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time through a Disability Studies lens, looking at how the autistic narrator, Christopher, is portrayed and how his story diverges from the typical disability narrative. You can find that paper published here: https://gua.soutron.net/Portal/Default/en-GB/RecordView/Index/586
